Informal introduction to class:

I am from Tennessee, but grew up in Orlando, Florida. I have been in Knoxville since 2001, where I attended Farragut High School starting sophomore year. I want to be a teacher because I need to do something that makes a difference. I chose elementary education because I feel that making a difference at a young age helps kids become more successful as teens and adults. My license will be in K-6 but as of now I plan to stay in the primary grades. Growing up in Florida water quickly became my hobby. I love to go swimming whether it be at the beach, pool, or lake. I am also very family oriented and spend a large portion of my time with my family, who also all live in Knoxville. I would say I have a pretty good background in computers and technology. I have been taking computer classes since middle school, which has helped me keep up with new technology.
